Dragon's Horns — North Tower
North Tower Via Ferrata
For non-climbers
No pitch-by-pitch record survives for this route. If you have climbed it, the logbook wants your topo.
What it is
A fixed-protection route — steel cable, rungs and ladders bolted to the rock — that lets visitors who don’t rock climb reach a viewpoint on the North Tower for the sight out over Mukut, the reef and the South Tower. You clip a via-ferrata lanyard to the cable and move on your feet; no rope skills needed, but it is still exposed and physical, and a head for heights helps.
Gear
Via-ferrata lanyard kit, harness, helmet. Go with a local guide.
Details wanted. Length, grade, guiding arrangements and current condition of the cable are not yet documented here — if you know them, please contribute.
